THE WRAITH VOL. 1 ANTHOLOGY DEBUTS FROM AIRSHIP 27! UPDATED!

I am thrilled to announce the publication of THE WRAITH Vol. 1 from Airship 27 Productions. This book has been in the pipeline for a decade now so I am thrilled to see it finally getting in front of readers. This was my first time writing The Wraith, but my second time writing the character was published first when SANDERSON OF METRO premiered in 2017.

AIRSHIP 27 PRODUCTIONS Presents THE WRAITH

For years Metro City has been watched and protected by the mystery man called The Wraith. Garbed in a black and blue outfit, cape and cowl, this masked vigilante possesses a unique energy power called the Judgment Stare by which he compels his prisoners to relive their crimes through the pain and suffering of their victims.

Created by writer Frank Dirscherl, the Dread Avenger of the Underworld first appeared as a comic series and then ultimately prose and even an independent film. Now Airship 27 presents four brand new Wraith stories by the best scribes in New Pulp. Along with Dirscherl, this volume features Greg Gick, Erik Franklin, Bobby Nash and Adam Oravec.

“I became a big fan of this character via his past comic book appearances,” reports Airship 27 Productions’ Managing Editor Ron Fortier. “When Frank Dirscherl later approached me about a possible Airship 27 anthology of prose stories, it took me all of two seconds to sign on. Now, years later the book is completed and all of us are thrilled to have it out for Wraith fans everywhere.”

Sky Rangers Bobby Nash and Frank Dirscherl have re-teamed for a new novel called Sanderson of Metro, which is now available for purchase in both paperback and hardcover editions. Published by Trinity Comics. There are links below.

Sanderson of Metro tells the origin story of Dirscherl's character, Paul Sanderson, the man who eventually becomes known as The Wraith: Dread Avenger of the Underworld. The Wraith has previously appeared in comic books, novels, and even a movie. Sanderson of Metro is the first step in a The Wraith relaunch.

Cool news from Frank Dirscherl about the upcoming novel, The Wraith: Sanderson of Metro that he and Bobby Nash wrote. Looks like it will be available in October from Trinity Comics.

Says Frank:

I'm happy to report today that SANDERSON OF METRO (the new Wraith prose novel detailing the never-before-told origin of the original Wraith/Paul Sanderson) is complete, fully edited and almost ready for publication. I'm spending all of today going through it, formatting it and getting it ready. A few more weeks and you'll be able to buy this action-packed new novel by yours truly and the incomparable Bobby Nash. New Pulp Publisher, Trinity Comics has announced that Frank (Lance Star: Sky Ranger) Dirscherl’s debut novel, THE WRAITH, is now available to buy (in paperback) in a new revamped and represented edition. This is the first novel in The Wraith novel series.
