LEGACY AUTHOR VISITS EARTH STATION ONE

The ESO podcast crew are not what they seem, but they do enjoy a damn good cup of coffee and a slice of cherry pie. Mike Faber, Mike Gordon, Jennifer Hartshorn, and the award-winning author Bobby Nash are joined by The Oncoming Storm’s Josh Wilson to discuss the ground breaking 90′s series, Twin Peaks. We wanted to put the Log Lady’s wooden friend in The Geek Seat, but it turns out its answers were not able to be recorded, so we settled for Gerald Welch, co-author of The Legacy Series with Warren Murphy, who found the experience only slightly less painful than a match with Chiun. We also make time for the usual Rants, Raves, Khan Report, and Shout Outs.

Join us for yet another episode of The Earth Station One Podcast we like to call: Who Killed Laura Palmer? ESO Visits Twin Peaks at www.esopodcast.com

ESO would love to hear from you. Let the ESO crew know what's on your mind at esopodcast@gmail.com, www.esopodcast.com, Facebook, Twitter, or Google+. We love hearing from you.

THE LEGACY CONTINUES…

Vol. 1 still available
New Pulp Publisher, Warren Murphy Media has announced that volume 2 of the Legacy Book Series will be released this week.

From the Legacy Book Series Facebook page:
It's time to start saving those nickels and dimes, Stone and Freya fans, cause the second book in the Legacy series will be available for purchase July 31st.

That's the Amazon paperback version only. eBooks and other channels will follow a few days afterwards!

Here is the inside front cover teaser scene!

A video appeared on the screen, taken from a surveillance camera in a nightclub. Despite the erratic lighting, a woman in a torn dress instantly stood out to Freya as a threat. She knew that the woman was not there to dance — she was there to kill.
Available July 31

“That woman is dangerous,” Freya said. “She’s looking for someone.”

The screen changed back to a close-up of the killer’s face, taken as she turned her head. Though the image was grainy, Freya could see that she was not smiling, as she had originally thought.

She was yawning.

A NEW LEGACY ARRIVES!

The first book in the new Destroyer spin-off series by Warren Murphy and Gerald Welch, Legacy: Forgotten Son is now available in paperback. Learn more here.

PRESS RELEASE:

FORGOTTEN SON BY WARREN MURPHY AND GERALD WELCH

It’s the second coming of Warren Murphy and Gerald Welch is riding shotgun!

Forgotten Son is the first book in the new Destroyer spin-off series, Legacy. Violence is escalating at the US/Mexico border. Smugglers run rampant while decapitated heads decorate billboards like Christmas tree lights. But the cartels choose the wrong place to conduct their business when they decide to cross the Arizona border belonging to the Sinanju tribe.

That’s where Ex-Mossad agent Benjamin Cole comes in. Ben has just been tapped to head a secret new government agency responsible for stopping terrorist acts. He is only given two field agents, but fortunately for him, Freya Williams and Stone Smith are the daughter and son of a certain Remo Williams.

This is old-school Murphy at his best, with explosive action, biting satire and engaging characters. Welch, coming off strong from the first five books in his Last Witness series, brings a spark of magic to the mix, but you kind of expect that from someone who has an honest-to-God lightning bolt scar on his forehead.

Fans of the Destroyer are going to love Forgotten Son and if you’re one of the four people on Earth who have never heard of the Destroyer, then buckle your seatbelt, because you’re in for a ride. If this book is any indication of what we can expect from future Legacy books, then Forgotten Son will be long remembered.

The Red Menace
Author: James Mullaney
Cover: Mark Maddox
258pgs, 4” x 6”, $6.99

WHO IS THE RED MENACE?

In the 1950s, the mysterious masked figure was a shadow and a whisper in Cold War corridors from Moscow to Beijing. Where walked the Red Menace, America's enemies knew fear. And death.

Then in 1960 the whisper grew silent.

Twelve years later, Patrick "Podge" Becket thinks he's escaped the spy game for good, but into his restless retirement steps a ghost from his past; a bitter Russian colonel with nothing to lose and the means to wreak worldwide destruction.

Aided by brilliant inventor and physician Dr. Thaddeus Wainwright, the Red Menace is reborn for a new generation. But it's a whole new world out there, and if he doesn't watch his step the swingin' Seventies might just find him RED AND BURIED!
